On Friday 4H joined all the Stage 2 students for an AFL skills day at Captain Oldrey Park. All the students got involved and learnt lots of new skills, and most importantly had a whole lot of fun!
This week's wonderful students are Kahlei, Jake, Jack and Daisy (absent). These students put in extra effort to achieve in our work on time this term. Well done!
Each Friday 4H is joined by Miss Mulcahy. This term we have spent our Fridays focusing on narrative writing and 2D and 3D shapes. Last Friday, everyone in the class made their own colourful 3D shape, and then sketched the front view, side view and top view of their shape. Here are all the happy shape-builders with their shapes!
As part of our history unit, Community and Remembrance, 4H have been discussing changes in Broulee. One of the things that has changed quite significantly is the Bridge. Students went for a walk to the Creek to sketch the bridge and compare it with the original footbridge that spanned the Creek. Local artist Greg Mckay joined us and gave the students a quick lesson and some tips for completing their sketches. Watch this space for some of the amazing artwork the students produced!! |
